The Celtic Cross on the table: this is how the cards are laid out in a spread

Free and in the Telegram bot

Tarot spreads

Here are all of Moirava’s spreads: how many cards each has, what each position shows and which question it suits. Choose a spread by your question, not by the number of cards.

Free on the site

You can do these spreads right in your browser, with no sign-up: the cards come up on the page itself.

Spreads in the Telegram bot

Iris lays out the deeper spreads in the Telegram bot @moirava_bot. She explains the cards in the context of your question rather than just listing meanings.

How to choose a spread

Start with the question. If it sounds like “yes or no,” one card is enough. If it is “what is happening and what do I do about it,” you need several positions: from three to seven. Save the ten-card Celtic Cross for truly complex questions where the past, feelings and circumstances are tangled together.

For a choice between two options there is “Two Paths.” For work questions where you want clarity without forecasts about money there is “Work and money,” and when the question sounds like “stay in my job or leave” there is “Stay or go.” For relationships there are “What is between us?”, “Relationship outlook” and “What comes after a breakup?” All of them look at your side and don’t guess other people’s thoughts. To tune in to a stretch of time, there are the weekly spread, the monthly spread and the “Card of the year 2027”; for the start of a lunar cycle there is the new moon spread, for the turn of the year the New Year spread, and when you simply want to understand yourself, “Me right now.”

Don’t keep repeating a spread on the same topic in search of a pleasant card: then you are reading your wish, not the cards. It is better to come back to the question when something has really changed.

Who lays out the cards

In the bot, the spreads are laid out by Iris, an AI tarot reader. She is an artificial intelligence, not a human, and we don’t hide that. Everything here is for entertainment and self-reflection: the spreads are not a forecast and not medical, legal or financial advice, and the site and the bot are for adults (18+).

Frequently asked questions

Which spread should I choose if I’m a beginner?

Start with the free ones on the site: the card of the day and “Yes or no.” When you want to go deeper, try the “Horseshoe” or “Two Paths.”

How do the spreads on the site differ from the spreads in the bot?

On the site, the cards and short meanings come up in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. In the bot, Iris builds a story for your particular question, taking the positions of the spread into account.

How much do the spreads in the bot cost?

From 75 to 200 crystals depending on the spread, and each spread’s page shows the exact price. One crystal equals one Telegram Star. Your first full spread in the bot is free, except for the Celtic Cross and the Card of the year.

Can I trust the spreads?

Treat them as entertainment and a way to look at a situation from a new side. Cards don’t know the future and don’t replace professionals on questions of health, money or law.

Will a spread show what another person thinks?

No. All of our spreads speak about your side: what you feel, what surrounds you, what depends on you. Other people’s thoughts and intentions are not revealed by the cards.

Who does the spreads in the bot?

Iris, an AI tarot reader. She interprets exactly the cards that came up, in your question.
