A 6-card spread

Two Paths tarot spread: A or B

Tarot for choosing between two options, A or B. The Two Paths spread is for the moment when you have to choose: the cards don’t decide for you but help you calmly weigh what each path gives and where it leads.

What this spread is

It is hard to choose when both options have their pros and cons. “Two Paths” lays out the choice evenly: the same number of cards for option A and option B, and two questions for each: what does it give here and now, and where may it lead. Above them lies the card for the heart of the choice, and below them the advice.

The spread doesn’t pick the “right” path and doesn’t say what you must do. It helps you see both options with equal attention, notice your own motives and decide not out of anxiety or habit but consciously. You give paths A and B their names in your question, for example “stay” and “move.”

What each position means

  1. The heart of the choice. What this choice is really about: the value, fear or need behind it. Sometimes it is more complicated (or simpler) than it seems.
  2. Path A: what it gives. What you may get here and now if you choose the first option: feelings, possibilities, the price.
  3. Path A: where it leads. Where this choice may lead later, if you follow it consistently.
  4. Path B: what it gives. The same for the second option: what it gives now, what feelings and possibilities it brings.
  5. Path B: where it leads. Where the second choice may lead over time, if you follow it consistently.
  6. Advice. A hint to take with you as you decide: what to consider or what to ask yourself. It is a thought for reflection, not a verdict.

Which questions it suits

What this spread won’t show

“Two Paths” doesn’t name a winner and doesn’t give a “do this” verdict. It doesn’t predict what exactly will happen on each path, doesn’t promise guarantees and gives no advice about money, health or law: such decisions need facts and, when necessary, professionals. It also won’t show what other people think, though their choices affect the situation too.

A short example

Question: Stay in my city (path A) or move (path B)?

Putting it together: this is a choice between calm and movement, and the cards don’t declare a winner. Path A gives support and slow growth, path B gives clarity and speed. Justice advises putting facts and values side by side and deciding what you lack more right now.

The example is made up: it shows how the positions are read, not what will “come up” for you.

How to read the spread

Who lays out the cards in the bot

In the bot, the spread is laid out by Iris, an artificial intelligence rather than a human tarot reader. We don’t hide it. She interprets exactly the cards that came up, in light of your question and the positions of this spread. It is entertainment and a reason to reflect, not a forecast or advice on health, money or legal matters.

Frequently asked questions

Will the spread show which path is “right”?

No. It shows what each option gives and where it may lead, and the choice stays with you.

What if there are more than two options?

First narrow them down to the two most important, or do the spread twice and compare two options at a time. The Horseshoe or the Celtic Cross will help if the question is more complex.

Can I choose between people?

You can, if the question is about your choice and your feelings. The spread doesn’t reveal what those people think and doesn’t predict their actions.

How is it different from “Yes or no”?

“Yes or no” gives one card and a short answer. “Two Paths” gives six cards and an interpretation of both options with their consequences.

How much does it cost?

100 crystals, and your first full spread in the bot is free. One crystal equals one Telegram Star.

Who does the reading?

Iris, an AI tarot reader. She explains each card in your situation and doesn’t decide for you.
