What this spread is
This spread helps you see more clearly what is happening in your work and in your approach to money. It looks at four things in turn (where you are, what helps, what gets in the way, your next step) and adds a fifth: where this path leads. The cards work here as a mirror of your habits, attitudes and actions, not as a financial advisor.
That is why it helps to phrase the question as “How can I…?” or “What will help me…?” For example: “How can I prepare more calmly for a conversation about a promotion?” or “What keeps me from taking on new projects?” The spread doesn’t settle questions about an amount, a date or “buy or sell,” and that is an honest limit.
What each position means
- Where I am now. An honest picture of your professional state: the stage, the mood, your attitude toward the work.
- What helps. A strength, a skill or a source of support you can lean on.
- What gets in the way. An inner habit, a doubt or a circumstance that holds you back. Naming it is already half the job.
- My next step. One step within reach for the next few days. It is small and concrete, and the decisions about big changes are yours.
- Where this way leads. Where the current approach may lead if nothing changes. This is a direction, not an income forecast or a guarantee.
Which questions it suits
- How can I prepare more calmly for a conversation about a promotion?
- What will help me feel more clarity at work?
- Why is it hard for me to take on new projects?
- How can I structure my workday so I don’t burn out?
- What will help me work better with my team?
What this spread won’t show
The spread doesn’t name amounts, dates or deadlines, doesn’t predict income and doesn’t advise where to invest or whether to change jobs as a financial decision: tarot is not a financial advisor. Such questions need facts, calculations and, when necessary, professionals. It also won’t show what colleagues or a manager think: the cards look at your side of the situation.
A short example
Question: How can I prepare more calmly for a conversation about a promotion?
- Where I am now: Seven of Pentacles, it is time to assess the effort already invested.
- What helps: Queen of Pentacles, practicality and care for the work.
- What gets in the way: Two of Swords, indecision and a wish to avoid the conversation.
- My next step: Ace of Swords, put your request clearly and simply.
- Where this way leads: Six of Pentacles, a fair exchange: you give, and you may ask.
Putting it together: a lot of effort has already gone in, practicality helps, and indecision holds you back. The Ace of Swords suggests a step within reach: state your request clearly. The spread doesn’t forecast the outcome of the conversation: it is only preparation.
The example is made up: it shows how the positions are read, not what will “come up” for you.
How to read the spread
- Write the question as “How can I…?” rather than “Will there be…?”: that way the spread is more useful.
- Suits in a work theme: Pentacles are about labor and resources, Wands about initiative, Swords about decisions and words, Cups about satisfaction and the team.
- Don’t take the “What gets in the way” card as a judgment: it is simply what deserves attention.
- Write down the step from the fourth card and do it within the week, rather than just “thinking it over.”
Who lays out the cards in the bot
In the bot, the spread is laid out by Iris, an artificial intelligence rather than a human tarot reader. We don’t hide it. She interprets exactly the cards that came up, in light of your question and the positions of this spread. It is entertainment and a reason to reflect, not a forecast or advice on health, money or legal matters.

Frequently asked questions
Will the spread show how much I earn?
No. It doesn’t name amounts, deadlines or income forecasts. The spread looks at your actions, your attitudes and your next step.
Can I ask whether to change jobs?
You can, if the question is about you: “What matters to me in this job?” But the spread doesn’t settle “change or not” as a financial decision; that is always your choice, based on facts.
Will the spread advise me where to put my money?
No. Tarot is not a financial advisor, and decisions about money need calculations and professionals.
What kind of question works best?
One that starts with “How can I…?” or “What will help me…?” It keeps the cards on your actions and attitudes rather than on outcomes you can’t control.
How much does it cost?
100 crystals, and your first full spread in the bot is free. One crystal equals one Telegram Star.
Who does the reading?
Iris, an AI tarot reader. She talks about choices and actions, not financial forecasts.
